Welcome to the Brighton & Hove Arts Commission website. The Arts Commission is made up of prominent members of the arts and creative industries community in Brighton & Hove.
The Arts Commission was established in December 2004. During the last two years it has proved itself an effective partnership body, taking on a leadership role for the cultural sector in the city and promoting our position as the leading cultural city in the South East.
The Brighton & Hove Arts Commission is involved in a range of activity. It develops policy, raises funds, provides advice and delivers programmes. It forms part of the City's family of partnerships.
The Brighton & Hove Arts Commission has recently completed the delivery of a two year Cultural Programme called making a difference funded through the Urban Cultural Programme.
