Brighton & Hove Childrens Festival
14 - 19 April 2008
Brighton & Hove Children's Festival returned for its third year from 14th-19th April 2008. This year the festival offered a range of exciting events from singing in an opera and learning to be a DJ to creating permanent public art and choosing your own adventures on the Volks Railway! Back by popular demand we had workshops for 2-5 year olds in the city’s museums and for the first time we had a series of events for 0-2 year olds. We also had six events programmed by our Fantastic Fun Festival Committee, a committee made up of 12 children from 6 primary schools across the city. And we had a special guest, Mr. Paul Merton, to close the festival for us with a collection of his favourite silent films chosen especially for children.
All events were free of charge but there was a small fee for booking on-line or over the phone.
